At Dairyland Power Cooperative, we believe good environmental practices are good business practices.
For decades, Dairyland Power Cooperative has reported chemical releases to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Since July 1999, electric utilities - including Dairyland - also report this information to the Environmental Protection Agency as specified under the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) rules.

- Record of Decision. The Cardinal-Hickory Creek Record of Decision (ROD) was included in the Federal Register in February 2020. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Utilities Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the ROD to approve the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the line. The ROD is a favorable decision that allows the review of the federal permit applications to move forward.
