For decades, Dairyland Power Cooperative has reported chemical releases to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Beginning in July 1999, electric utilities, including Dairyland, also report this information to the Environmental Protection Agency as specified under the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) rules.
