Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has appointed Dairyland Vice President, External and Member Relations, Rob Palmberg to the Governor’s Task Force on Climate Change.
The task force will advise and assist the governor in developing a strategy to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change for the benefit of all Wisconsin communities. Members of the task force will work closely with the Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy. The task force will report their findings and policy recommendations to Gov. Evers by August 2020.
The task force is comprised of a broad spectrum of members, including elected officials and representatives from environmental, education, government, Native nations, tourism, industry and business organizations. Gov. Evers appointed Lt. Gov. Barnes to serve as Chairman of the task force.
"I am honored to have this opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of Wisconsin citizens on a positive path for everyone’s future," said Palmberg. "As a member on the task force, I look forward to contributing to a holistic, sustainable solution on this complex issue."
