Career Opportunities - Technical Support Engineer - Licensing

Dairyland Power Cooperative, an electric utility headquartered in La Crosse, WI seeks a Technical Support Engineer – Licensing to Supports the ISFSI manager to assure that ISFSI operations are conducted in accordance with applicable Federal and State regulations, requirements and licensing bases. This includes, but is not limited to: 1) providing technical expertise for compliance with regulatory programs, 2) interacting with management, ISFSI staff, federal and state regulators on matters involving regulatory compliance, 3) developing regulatory correspondence and regulatory position papers, 4) supporting on-site regulatory inspections, 5) serving as a subject matter expert regarding the maintenance of license basis documents, 6) evaluating events or conditions for report-ability.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (prefer engineering or physical science) with a minimum of three (3) years’ responsible nuclear power plant experience related to design, construction, operation and maintenance. Valid Driver’s License required. Must be able to acquire and maintain unescorted access to the DPC ISFSI protected area and must be able to be in the Safeguards Program.
